Begonias are a plant with a thousand different personalities! Truly a must have in any garden display. These versatile flowers can be planted in flower beds & borders but also look great potted around the patio. Their heritage lies deep within the rainforest which means they don’t worry about shaded areas.
Unlike the Devils Delight Mix, the Begonia Plants - Heaven Mixed produces plants which all have rich green foliage. Which, along with the flurries of colour the flowers create adds a very desirable contrast to your flower beds and borders.
The Begonia Plants - Heaven Mixed will certainly be a perfect emissary wherever you plant them! Whether that is in flower borders or potted up in decorative patio pots & containers to really show them off. With a great range of flower colours, these plants will look amazing planted around a focal feature plant or planted in mass in your flower borders.
Extra Value Plug Plants - A 7cm pot filled loosely with moist compost is ideal to plant these sturdy young plants into. In each pack you will find a dibber stick. Gently push it through the base hole of each cell and ease the plant and root plug out of the tray, placing it into the centre of the filled pot until the roots of the plug are covered. Firm the compost gently around the base of the plug whilst ensuring the stem and leaves remain above the top layer. Alternatively, plant into trays of compost. A 36 x 22cm (14 x 8½") tray will hold up to 24 plants. Grow on in a light place at a temperature of 16°C (60°F). For Begonia and impatiens 18°C (65°F) would be even better to encourage quick establishment. HINT: To reduce the need for weeding once you have planted out your bedding display, you can dig over your planting area a couple of weeks before you intend to plant. As the soil warms this will encourage the weed seeds to germinate and these can be removed before you plant up your display.
Garden Ready Plug Plants - Always ensure that the risk of frost has passed before you plant these into the garden. Should there still be a risk in your area then we suggest that you pot these plants into a 7 to 9cm pot and allow them to develop further somewhere warm and light, before planting, rather than leave them in the growing tray. For planting directly into the garden, ensure that the soil has been dug over and lumps broken down, then plant straight into their flowering position. In areas where the existing soil is poor, incorporate a good handful of compost into each area you are planting. Once planted don’t forget to give your plants a drink and protect them from any slugs and snails that may appear.

Live Plants
Suttons strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3.
Non Standard Deliveries
Unfortunately like many companies in our industry we are currently only able to supply orders to UK based customers, excluding those in Northern Ireland. We are committed to finding a way that we can resume or normal services again as soon as possible. Please accept our apologies for any inconvience caused.
