These vigorous spreading members of the daisy family look very similar to sunflowers but of course much smaller and easier to manage. Some are bicolour with eye-catching centres while others maintain glorious single colours.

Like Osteospermum, another member of the daisy family often in pinks and purples, their flowers open in sunshine and close up in dull or cool weather. A fun plant for children to grow and watch!

Being open single flowers, they are excellent pollinators and beloved by bees and butterflies. Why not grow alongside other pollinator friendly plants in your garden such as sunflowers (Helianthus) and Rudbeckia.

Suttons have various mixes available in both seed and plant form: 'Super Hybrid Mix' & 'Daybreak Mix'. Offering a selection of bright colours, these really will enhance your outdoor space. Purchasing from Suttons guarantees quality as we have our own in house seed testing station and trial fields. In fact, our seed testing station was one of the first to be licensed by the Government and with over 200 years of experience in supplying the horticultural market, Suttons is certainly a company to rely on.

To maximise flowering, remember to remove faded flower heads frequently and you'll be richly rewarded with unbelievable bedding.
