Hydrangea marcophylla Plant -Soeur Thérèse

The Hydrangea marcophylla Plant -Soeur Thérèse is a stunningly beautiful pure white hydrangea. This hardy deciduous shrub is smaller than other varieties and is very easy to grow. A lover of both the sun and shade, the dark green leaves show off the mophead flowers to perfection! Hydrangeas are a perfect addition to any garden, large or small, as they provide interest and colour throughout the year. This small, upright, deciduous, easy to grow and keep shrub has been named after Soeur Thérèse known as The Little Flower or St Therese of the child Jesus. It has dark green foliage which really helps show off its flowers that are beautifully simple, pure white blooms, each with a tiny blue eye. They are produced en-masse which will fade to have a pale pink hue later in the season. Flowers July-September. Height: 150cm (59"). Spread: 150cm (59").

Growing Information

Hydrangea macrophylla prefers a sunny or semi shaded position, with shelter from cold, drying winds. Grow hydrangea plants in any rich fertile, moist soil. Improve the soil prior to planting by adding with plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost, ensuring that it is mixed in thoroughly and deeply. Alternatively plant hydrangea macrophylla in patio containers in soil based compost such as John Innes No. 3.

Suttons strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3.

Non Standard Deliveries

Unfortunately like many companies in our industry we are currently only able to supply orders to UK based customers, excluding those in Northern Ireland. We are committed to finding a way that we can resume or normal services again as soon as possible. Please accept our apologies for any inconvience caused.

We reserve the right to contact you and advise an additional charge where necessary and are happy to quote for carriage of specific products to more remote areas. Some items may not be available to all areas.

We reserve the right to revise any carriage charges in the event of carrier price increase or other unforeseen circumstances. We will always advise of the carriage charge before payment is taken.

Large Non-standard items may incur a higher, lorry delivery charge. Charges will be calculated at checkout, but an example of the lorry charges are listed below.
