Salvia microphylla 'Pink Pong' is a stunning, bushy sage that captivates with its long-lasting blooms and vibrant two-tone pink flowers. This delightful shrub not only enhances the visual appeal of borders, raised beds, and containers but also serves as a magnet for pollinators, making it an excellent choice for those looking to create a lively and inviting garden space. Its extended flowering period ensures that the garden remains vibrant from late spring until the first frosts, providing a continuous display of color that enlivens any landscape.
The growth habit of 'Pink Pong' is characterized by its compact, bushy, and upright form, which makes it an ideal candidate for various garden settings. The foliage consists of small, aromatic green leaves that release a light, pleasant fragrance when brushed against, adding an olfactory dimension to its visual charm. The flowers themselves are a striking bi-colour, featuring bright pink petals with a darker lower lip, creating a captivating contrast that draws the eye and invites admiration. This semi-evergreen plant thrives in full sun and prefers well-drained, moderately fertile soil, making it relatively easy to cultivate in a variety of conditions.
In terms of wildlife attraction, Salvia microphylla 'Pink Pong' is particularly appealing to bees and butterflies, contributing to a vibrant ecosystem within the garden. Its hardiness allows it to flourish in most parts of the UK, although it may require some winter protection in colder regions. To maintain its beauty and prolong the flowering season, regular deadheading is recommended, along with a light cut back in spring after the risk of frost has passed. With an ultimate height and spread of approximately 60 cm (24 inches), this exquisite sage is perfectly suited for borders, cottage gardens, and pollinator-friendly planting schemes, ensuring that it remains a cherished addition to any garden.

Live Plants
Suttons strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3.
Non Standard Deliveries
Unfortunately like many companies in our industry we are currently only able to supply orders to UK based customers, excluding those in Northern Ireland. We are committed to finding a way that we can resume or normal services again as soon as possible. Please accept our apologies for any inconvience caused.
Prices include VAT where applicable.
We reserve the right to contact you and advise an additional charge where necessary and are happy to quote for carriage of specific products to more remote areas. Some items may not be available to all areas.
We reserve the right to revise any carriage charges in the event of carrier price increase or other unforeseen circumstances. We will always advise of the carriage charge before payment is taken.
All Suttons products should reach you in perfect condition, just as they left us. If you are dissatisfied in any way with their condition on arrival, please let us know within 14 days.
