The ideal fertiliser for all rhododendrons and azaleas in your garden or containers. It contains a high potash content which increases flower bud formation and improves the size of your blooms. This plant food is organic-based and its slow-release formula works for up to 3 months. Guarantees longer preservation of blooms after cutting and contains extra Magnesium for brighter colours. Rhododendron & Azalea food fertiliser increases (due to the high organic content in the product) the humus content in the soil and improves soil structure and micro-life. Can be applied to soils with a high calcium content where it will lower the pH. 4kg.
Treats up to 40-80 sq metre. Safe to humans, pets and insects when applied and stored correctly. Apply between March and September. Preferred temperature 8-12ºC. Application and rates - Apply by hand whilst wearing gloves, or by using a fertiliser spreader at a rate as detailed below per sq.mtr. During planting - spring 50g/plant.MAINTENANCE - spring: 100 g/plant repeat every 3 months. Autumn: 50-100g end of August. Extra fertilisation after the flowering period gives more blooms the year after. For existing plantations: incorporate the fertiliser around the plant and give water. During planting: Spread the fertiliser in the plant hole and mix it with the garden soil. Place the plant in position and backfill with topsoil. Compound organic NPK fertiliser containing Magnesium 5-6-9 (+3MgO). 5% total Nitrogen (N), of which 2.2% organic Nitrogen derived from feather meal, meat and bone meal, cocoa shells. 1.2% ammonium Nitrogen. 16% Urea Nitrogen. 6% total Phosphorus Pentoxide (P2O5). 9% Potassium Oxide (K2O) soluble in water. 3% total Magnesium Oxide (MgO). 25% organic matter derived from feather meal, meat and bone meal, cocoa shells. Low in Chlorine.

Small items are sent by Royal Mail and larger items by courier. When ordering large items please provide your phone number so that the courier can contact you if necessary.
Please note that when several items are ordered they may not all be delivered at the same time.
Packet seed only will incur a carriage charge of £2.99.
All other products incur a carriage charge of £4.99.
If your order comprises of a combination of carriage charges then a combined carriage charge of £6.99 will be applied.

All Suttons products should reach you in perfect condition, just as they left us. If you are dissatisfied in any way with their condition on arrival, please let us know within 14 days. We are only liable for the cost of the goods as quoted on the website plus the cost of delivery if the goods are faulty.
