Sow into a prepared seedbed, in rows at a depth of 1cm and 30cm between rows. Germination 7-14 days. Transfer into final positions approx. 6 weeks from sowing. Alternatively, sow in a propagator and cover with a sprinkling of compost at 21 degrees or on a sunny windowsill. Acclimatise to outdoor conditions before planting out. Apply lime to acid soils to reduce the chance of clubroot.
