A superb Sugar Pea with long slightly curved fleshy pods which should be gathered young and cooked whole. Recommended by the National Institute of Agricultural Botany. Height 105-120cm (3½-4'). Sugar Pod (Mangetout) type.
R = Round seed. Hardy, and can be sown in late autumn or January-March. DID YOU KNOW....? Round seed provides nowhere for water to collect and rot the seed, so can be sown in winter, but wrinkled seed collects water, so can only be sown when the soil is drier in spring.
