The rhododendron bush is a very attractive, flowering bush found in lots of landscapes and gardens. It is fairly low maintenance, but growing rhododendrons with success needs the right planting spot for the rhododendron bloom. Rhododendrons have lovely big oval leaves. Azaleas have smaller, narrower leaves which is often hairy, but the underside of the leaf and takes on brilliant hues of yellow, orange and crimson in autumn 

Rhododendrons Flowers

Rhododendrons produce wonderful large, clustered bell-shaped flowers with azaleas flowers being smaller and tubular or funnel-shaped. Both plants flower in spring.
