Delicious rich, nutty flavour
A self-fertile midseason variety - undoubtedly the best of the russetted
apples - with a very keen following. It reliably produces a heavy crop of
distinctive russet-bronze fruits, with crisp solid flesh and a rich, nutty
flavour that is perfect with cheese! Pick in October for eating through to
January.
Our apples are grafted onto an M9 rootstock which produces an
easy-to-control semi-dwarf tree with medium vigour.
