Large, delicious fruits
This Canadian-bred variety has revolutionised the growing of apricots in
the UK. It's a self-fertile variety forming a tidy, compact tree and
producing very large, juicy, intensely flavoured apricots with a strong
red blush on succulent orange flesh. These will ripen around the middle of
August. Grown on Torinel rootstock, which gives a heavily cropping,
medium-sized tree of 2.7-3m (9-10').
