Broccoli F1 Arcadia Seeds (Calabrese)

A reliable, deep-rooted variety which is easy to grow and thrives in most conditions. Fast maturing - cropping June-September. Quality, smooth fine heads of delicious flavour, which hold well, so you can cut them at your convenience.

CULTURE: Sow April-May outdoors. This variety produces a large central head that should be cut and eaten; further smaller shoots follow. (12-16 weeks maturity.)
HINTS: Recommended for freezing. Delicious healthy shoots to be picked frequently over a long period. HEALTH BENEFITS: High in vitamins A and C and a good source of iron. CULINARY TIPS: A growing body of research suggests that Broccoli may offer some protection against certain cancers. Best steamed not boiled and use within hours of harvesting.
