Guarantee
All Suttons products should reach you in perfect condition, just as they left us. If you are dissatisfied in any way with their condition on arrival, please let us know within 14 days and we'll arrange a replacement or refund. We are only liable for the cost of the goods (plus any carriage charge) as quoted on the website.
Carriage Charge
Orders of Packet Seeds, Garlic, Onion Sets, Shallots and Mushrooms only incur a charge of £0.95
Orders for all other products incur a carriage charge of £3.95.
Where an order includes both packet seed and other items, only the charge of £3.95 will apply.
The Isles of Wight, Man, and Scilly, Northern Ireland, plus the Scottish Highlands and Islands: for orders weighing less than 2kg the normal UK mainland carriage charge applies. Where the combined weight of the order is 2kg and above, the carriage contribution is £12.
The Channel Islands and Southern Ireland: for orders weighing less than 2kg the normal UK mainland carriage charge applies. Where the combined weight of the order is 2kg and above, the carriage contribution is £15. We reserve the right to contact you and advise an additional charge where necessary, and are happy to quote for carriage of specific products to outlying areas. Some very large items may not be available to all areas.
Order Despatch
Orders are despatched promptly by post or parcel carrier, but please allow 7-10 days for delivery. Seasonal items such as plants are sent separately and specific delivery times are stated against each variety both in our catalogues and on our website. You will receive an order acknowledgement by post or email. Important information about the delivery of young plants can be seen here.
Potatoes are sent separately in special secure cartons, and will be despatched from December onwards. Please note that we monitor weather conditions daily during critical periods and do not despatch when frosty conditions are forecast.
Export Orders - Private Customers
We are able to despatch seeds only (excluding lawn seed) to private customers in other EU Countries (except the Irish Republic). A minimum order value of £5.00 applies together with carriage charge of £3.95. Payment by Visa, Mastercard or Eurocard. We regret that we are unable to accept orders from private customers for despatch outside the EU.
Republic of Ireland

Payment
We accept payment for online orders by Visa (except Electron), Mastercard, Maestro (Switch) or Delta. In order to keep administration costs low, and to avoid issues where credit & debit cards expire before delivery, cards are debited when the order is first processed. If items subsequently become unavailable, a full refund will be issued.
Prices
Prices include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to revise any prices in the event of unforeseen circumstances or a change in the VAT rate.
Substitutes
The supply of goods listed is subject to availability, and we may send the best available substitute for a variety out of stock. If this is not possible, we shall send a credit for amounts under £1.00, for use against future purchases. Refunds are made for amounts above this value, or in any case on request. Should our alternative not prove acceptable, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will forward a refund to cover the cost of the item not available.

Complaints
It is our aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 working days, and we will provide a likely timescale for resolving the dispute and keep you advised about progress.
Cancelation
If you wish to cancel an order, you should contact our Customer Services Department. Beacuse many of our goods are perishable, please do not return them to us without first contacting us. We reserve the right to cancel any order. Your statutory rights are not affected by any of these business terms.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. We may use cookies to assemble your order, but they contain no personal information. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us or from another trader in the future.
The type of information we will collect about you includes:

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. Name our Petunia Competition - Terms and Conditions
- To enter the competition you must order a pack of these Petunia plants, then grow them, photograph them in bloom, and think of a name for this new variety.
- Entry restricted to one per household, with one name only submitted with one photograph.
- Please include the following information written on the back of your photograph: Your name and postal address, phone number, Email address (if you have one) and your chosen name for the Petunia.
- Closing date for entries is 31st August 2009.
- By entering the competition, the entrant agrees that Suttons Consumer Products Ltd is entitled to feature a photograph and name of the prize winner in publicity, subsequent promotions and advertising material.
- Photographs submitted and the selected winning name may be used by the company for publicity purposes without charge and shall become the absolute property of Suttons.
- Suttons group employees, their agents and relatives are not eligible to enter in the competition.
- The prize is a Suttons voucher value £100 together with a commemorative certificate.
- The decision of Suttons on all matters will be final and no correspondence can be entered into. We regret that it will not be possible for us to return any photographs. The prize winning name will be used for this variety for as long as it continues to be offered by Suttons.
- You can obtain the winner’s name and county of residence at any time within three months of the closing date by sending a stamped self-addressed envelope to us at Suttons Customer Services (Name competition), Woodview Road, Paignton, TQ4 7NG.
