Pea Oregon Sugar Pod Seeds (Mangetout)

Gather when young and eat quickly!

A superb Sugar Pea with long slightly curved fleshy pods which should be gathered young and cooked whole. RHS Award of Garden Merit winner. Recommended by the National Institute of Agricultural Botany. Height 105-120cm (3½-4'). Sugar Pod Type.

Culture: Sown thinly directly into prepared soil at a depth of 50mm (2") in flat drills 15cm (6") wide. Allow 90cm (36") between rows. Support plants with twiggy sticks or pea netting. Grows best in a sunny position in well cultivated soil containing plenty of well rotted manure or compost.

Height: 101-150CM

Hints: HEALTH BENEFITS: Good source of vitamin B1 and folic acid. CULINARY TIPS: Steam gently to retain nutrient values. Can also be eaten raw. Recently voted No. 1 for taste by kids!
