Lettuce Little Gem Seeds

The perfect Cos Lettuce, grow it in the garden or in containers.

Little Gem is the perfect Cos Lettuce - it's quick to mature, dwarf and compact and produces crisp, sweet, medium-sized hearts. It's also resistant to root aphid making it simple to grow. Suited to sowing March-July outdoors, and also good under cloches. But don't just take our word for it - it's an RHS Award of Garden Merit winner and it's recommended by the National Institute of Agricultural Botany.

Culture: Sow little and often to ensure a continuous supply. Grow in a rich soil and water well in dry periods. Sow outdoors at fortnightly intervals from March to July, and in September sow varieties which stand through winter to head the following spring. (10-14 weeks maturity.)
