Culture: Sow April-mid July outdoors (10-12 weeks maturity). Harvest from golf to tennis ball size.

Sowing Time: April-mid July

Hints: An interesting cabbage/turnip flavour and is used widely on the continent. The bulb grows above the soil and should be cooked while young and tender. HEALTH BENEFITS: High in vitamin C, potassium and fibre. CULINARY TIPS: Cup up 'roots' can be boiled in soups and stews, or grate raw for salads.
