Blueberries are perfect for growing because they are generally best grown in pots of ericaceous compost to give them ideal growing conditions.
And these three varieties will give you a crop, year after year, from early July right through to mid October.
Earliblue - Very early variety with clusters of large, light blue fruit. Ripens early July.
Bluecrop - Excellent mid-season variety producing large, sweet fruit from end of July. Forms a medium-sized spreading bush. Very tough plant.
Elliott - A vigorous bush producing a very high yield of fruit. The medium-sized berries ripen early September to mid-October.
Also, please note that these are sent to you as quality bushy plants in their own pots. Plant them as soon as you get them into nice deep patio pots and enjoy your first blueberry harvest early next summer.
Blueberries are also beautiful in the garden. In spring rusty red leaf tips mature into a strong green canopy. Then clusters of creamy white flowers turn into juicy blueberries.
