Produces a crop with a mild taste A very popular, quick-growing, round turnip with white skin and solid flesh of mild flavour. Specially recommended for table and exhibition. Recommended by the National Institute of Agricultural Botany. Culture: Sow May-July outdoors. For turnip tops - sow in August, scattering seed thinly and evenly on prepared soil. Rake in lightly. (6-10 weeks maturity.)
