Sowing Time January-February, March to July and in September
Medium-sized hearts Sow outdoors in spring and summer. Also excellent for January-February sowing under glass for transplanting outdoors. Culture: Sow little and often to ensure a continuous supply. Grow in a rich soil and water well in dry periods. Sow outdoors at fortnightly intervals from March to July, and in September sow varieties which stand through winter to head the following spring. (10-14 weeks maturity.)
