A tasty lettuce that's upright and large! Lobjoits Green is a Cos lettuce that gives large, very crisp, dark green upright hearts which are self-folding. Suitable for spring and autumn sowing. RHS Award of Garden Merit winner. Recommended by the National Institute of Agricultural Botany. Culture: Sow little and often to ensure a continuous supply. Grow in a rich soil and water well in dry periods. Sow outdoors at fortnightly intervals from March to July, and in September sow again to stand through winter for heads the following spring. 10-14 weeks maturity.
