Compact and heavy cropping Courgette Defender is a British bred variety with resistance to Cucumber Mosaic Virus which so often decimates marrow plants in our gardens. It produces a heavy yield of mid-green, slightly speckled courgettes, and is best if cut regularly. Ideal for small spaces. RHS Award of Garden Merit winner. Culture: Sow singly in pots April-May under glass at 20-25°C (69-78°F). Harvest July-October (12 weeks maturity). Pick often to ensure continuity.
