Great beginner climbing french bean A big improvement on Blue Lake with vigorous plants that yield up to a third more beans. Round, stringless pods up to 20cm (8") in length are produced right through to autumn if picked regularly. And the taste? - delicious! RHS Award of Garden Merit winner. Culture: Sow outdoors late April-June or in April under glass for transplanting outdoors. Provide suitable support - e.g. netting or pea sticks (12-16 weeks maturity).
