First-rate over-wintering spring greens
Produces evenly sized, smooth, dark leaved greens as a spring green or, if allowed to heart, will eventually form compact 250g (8oz) loose heads. Superb winter hardiness and has excellent flavour and bolting resistance. Spring maturing (36 weeks maturity).
Culture: Careful selection of varieties will ensure a good supply of different types of cabbages for all seasons of the year. For early crops sow under glass at 10-15°C (50-60°F) in February. For use in late summer, autumn and winter sow March-May outdoors. For use April-May choose varieties bred specifically for sowing in autumn.
