Excellent internal quality Ideal for those after a high quality summer/autumn red cabbage, boasting a round head shape and deep red colour. Can also be grown closer together to produce baby cabbages. Summer/autumn maturing. Culture: Careful selection of varieties will ensure a good supply of different types of cabbages for all seasons of the year. For early crops sow under glass at 10-15°C (50-60°F) in February. For use in late summer, autumn and winter sow March-May outdoors. For use April-May choose varieties bred specifically for sowing in autumn.
