Sow thinly direct into soil prepared by digging and raking at a depth of 50mm (2") in flat drills 15cm (6") wide in two rows with seed approximately 5cm (2") apart. Germination 7-10 days. Allow 90cm (36") between further rows. Support plants with twiggy sticks or pea netting. Grows best in a sunny position in well cultivated soil containing plenty of well rotted manure or compost. Plants are heavy cropping if picked regularly. Pick small before peas bulge through the pods. Water well during dry weather to aid flower setting and pea formation. Sowing to Cropping: 12-16 weeks.

Ideal for beds and borders. Prefers full sun but grows well in sun or shade.
