Sow in cell trays or small pots. Transfer to final growing position when seedlings are between 6-8 weeks old, 50cm (20") between plants each way. Alternatively, sow from April, direct into a finely raked seedbed at a depth of 13mm (½"). Transfer when large enough to handle leaving 50cm (20") between plants each way. Water in well. Grows best on firm, deeply dug ground, liberally manured the previous autumn. Sowing ➞ Cropping: 24-26 weeks. Mix contains: Scarlet - 33.3%, Dwarf Green Curled - 33.3%, Black Magic - 33.3%. Sow April-May outdoors. (28-32 weeks maturity).

Ideal for beds and borders. HEALTH BENEFITS: High levels of vitamins A and C. CULINARY TIPS: To retain nutrient levels, lightly steam or stir-fry.
