Sow between March and August. Choose a sunny site and sow thinly into finely raked, moist, warm soil at a depth of 13mm (½”) in rows, leaving 30cm (12”) between further rows. Thin the resulting seedlings to 5-7.5cm (2-3”) between plants. Grows best in soil that has not been manured recently. When harvesting remove the tops by twisting off. Sowing to Cropping: 10 - 12 weeks.

Ideal for beds and borders. HEALTH BENEFITS: Rich in potassium and folate plus some vitamin C. CULINARY TIPS: Tops of young roots can be used as spinach.
