Sow thinly direct into finely raked, moist, warm soil at a depth of 13mm (½") in rows about 30cm (12") apart. Germination 10-14 days. Thin as necessary to leave 25-50mm (1-2") between plants. Grows best in a sunny position in soil which has not recently been manured. Leaves may be used like spinach. Once harvested, remove tops by twisting. Roots may be stored in sand for later use. Sowing to Cropping: 12 weeks.

Ideal for beds and borders, patio pots and container. Grows well in sun or shade.
