Sow February to May in a greenhouse in trays of quality compost. At the 2-3 leaf stage, transplant plant the strongest into small pots. May and June, transplant the young plants outside, or in a greenhouse or tunnel, 50x80cm apart and provide support. Keep a main stem and remove shoots at the base of the leaves. Harvest July to October.
