Carrot Seeds - F1 Purple Sun

Daucus carota sativus

We’ve had a purple skinned carrot before, now we have one that’s purple throughout! So what? Well, it’s the ‘mega’ healthy carrot. Purple Sun not only has vitamin A like normal carrots but it is also packed full of anthocyamins giving the roots their purple colour. What are anthocyanins? They are antioxidants, reputed to be so effective in the prevention of many diseases. Oh and by the way, the roots retain their colour with cooking - and they taste good too! 135 days from sowing to harvest (taken from our own trials and may vary in different areas).
