A superb old French variety of this very hardy (to -17°C) and long-lived deciduous tree/shrub. A lover of summer heat, plants are ideal for greenhouse, conservatory, or a hot, sunny spot outdoors, coming into flower in June, the glossy, leathery-skinned fruits maturing during September. Enjoy the fragrant sweet-sharp juice as a drink, and eat the bright pink pulp fresh and in dishes sweet or savoury. Supplied in a 3 litre pot.
