In chillier areas treat as an annual or bring inside in a pot over winter. Culture: Sow seeds individually in small pots, in a temperature of 15-20°C (60-70°F). Transplant frequently, ensuring that individual plants are not entangled. Plant outside when all danger of frost is past, ensuring that the plant has adequate support for climbing. Fertile, moist soil will produce the best results. Annual summer climber for walls or fencing, or scrambling through shrubs and trees. Perennial in frost-free conditions.
