Sow in a propagator on a windowsill or in a greenhouse at approximately 15-20ºC (60-68ºF) using a good quality, finely sieved, moist compost, pressing the seed gently into the surface. Cover with 6mm (¼") of compost, germination 10-21 days. Transplant seedlings, spacing out 5cm (2") apart in trays and grow on. Acclimatise plants gradually before planting out 30cm (12") apart in an open sunny position. Alternatively sow direct outside April-May into finely raked, moist, warm, weed-free soil.

Ideal for beds and borders, patio pots and containers. Attractive to bees. Suitable for cut and dried flowers. Prefers full sun. Deadhead flowers throughout the season to encourage fresh buds.
