Sow direct into finely raked moist warm soil where the plants are to flower, approximately 3mm (1⁄8") deep, raking the seed in gently. Germination 7-14 days. For earlier flowering, sow February/March on a windowsill or in a greenhouse at approximately 13-18°C (55-65°F), 1.5mm (1⁄16") deep in good quality compost. Transplant seedlings 5cm (2") apart and grow on. Plant out 15cm (6") apart in a sunny position end May-June. May also be sown in early autumn for early flowering next summer.

Ideal for beds, borders and patio containers. Scented. Prefers full sun.
