Cool, blue summer flowers Take refuge from the summer heat in the soothingly cool blue, white centred, flowers of Blue Ensign. It makes a superb ground cover. Easy to grow. Large flowers throughout the summer. At the end of the season plants die, and no roots remain to grow again. RHS Award of Garden Merit winner. HA - Hardy annual. Height 30-35cm (12-14"). Culture: Sow March-May outdoors for flowers June-September, or sow in September for flowers June-July the next summer. Average Growing Height: 31-40CM
