Stock Plants

With pretty green/grey leaves, and densely clustered flowering spikes Stock plants have been adorning our gardens for many many years. The colours are usually pastel although there are some stronger colours available. When planted massed together Stock plants are a lovely addition to any garden.

Flowering from April to May Stock plants are highly fragrant with quite a heady scent and are a good cut flower.

Where to grow Stock Plants?

  • Full sun in a sheltered position
  • Well-drained soil is essential
  • Stock plants do not like an acid soil
