Where to grow Daffodils?

  • Everywhere – daffodils are beautiful!Seriously
  • Choose a sunny spot or beneath deciduous trees
  • Soil must be well-drained
  • Dependant on the variety daffodils are suitable for beds and containers and look wonderful when naturalised in grass
  • Some daffodils are perfect for growing indoors

How do I grow Daffodils?

  • Plant at a depth 3 times the length of the bulb
  • Plant as early as possible for the best results – September or October
  • Feed daffodils in early spring and once the flowers have faded
  • Watering may be necessary in prolonged dry spells
  • Deadhead after flowering
  • Allow foliage to die down naturally
